LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's basketball held its first open practice yesterday at the United Spirit Arena with 2,500 fans in attendance.

The Lady Raiders worked out for approximately two hours and were introduced to the fans at the intermission. Fans were able to compete against their favorite Lady Raider in a free throw contest and were able to ask their favorite players questions and win prizes. The day ended with a two-hour autograph session on the eastside concourse at the USA.

Tech will tip-off the 2003-04 season in the Preseason WNIT on Friday, Nov. 14 against Texas-San Antonio at 7 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena. Women's basketball season tickets are on sale now at the Athletic Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH or 1-888-GO BIG 12.
