Red Raiders Close Taylor Made Intercollegiate in 11th Place

LUBBOCK, Texas - Mark Hull (San Antonio, Texas) continued his steady play to finish in an eighth-place tie and lead Texas Tech to an 11th-place final standing at the 13th Annual Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate in Hilo, Hawaii.
Hull shot a final-round 73 and finished the tournament tied with Arizona State's Chez Reavie and Southern California's Nico Bollini. Brooks Kelly (Sierra Vista, Ariz.) also shot a 73, while Andrew Dresser (Carrollton, Texas) and Clint Diebert (Doylestown, Pa.) shot 74 and 75, respectively. Brad Jacobson (Bryant, S.D.) also shot a 75.
Kelly claimed a top 20 finish with a 16th-place tie, while Dresser and Diebert tied in the 41st and 65th places. Jacobson did not place due to a disqualification in the second round.
UCLA won the team title by two strokes over third-ranked TCU. Houston, Oklahoma and Washington each finished 13 shots off of the lead in third place.
