Game Times Announced for Lubbock First/Second Rounds

LUBBOCK, Texas - The NCAA announced today the game times for the 2003 NCAA Women's First/Second Rounds this weekend in Lubbock.
Texas Tech, the region's No. 2 seed, and No. 15-seed Southwest Missouri State will play at 5:40 p.m. (CT) on Sun., March 23, at the United Spirit Arena. No. 7-seed UC Santa Barbara and 10th-seeded Xavier will tip off 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. The second round game is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Tue., March 25.
Times are tentative and subject to change.
Sunday, March 23 Game 1 - (2) Texas Tech vs. (15) Southwest Missouri State - 5:40 p.m. Game 2 - (7) UC Santa Barbara vs. (10) Xavier - 30 minutes following game one
Tuesday, March 25 Second Round Game - 8:15 p.m.
Women's NCAA First/Second Round tournament tickets are still available at $25 for a three-game tournament package. According to the NCAA, Lubbock leads the nation out of the 16 sites in pre-tournament sales at just under 8,000.
