Game Time Set for NCAA Second Round

Texas Tech and UC Santa Barbara meet in NCAA Second Round action Tuesday night with a trip to the Sweet Sixteen on the line.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The NCAA announced Monday morning that the second round game of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Lubbock First/Second Round will tip at 8:19 p.m. (CT) Tue., March 25, at the United Spirit Arena.

Additionally, the NCAA announced that the game would be broadcast on ESPN2.

The Midwest Region's No. 2 seed, Texas Tech, knocked off No. 15-seed Southwest Missouri State, 67-59, Sunday night to advance to the second round. The Lady Raiders' second round opponent, seventh-seeded UC Santa Barbara, defeated No. 10-seed Xavier, 71-62, in first round action. The winner of Tuesday night's game will advance to the Sweet Sixteen in Albuquerque, N.M., where action gets underway March 29 & 31.
