Texas Tech Will Celebrate "Turn Back The Clock Night"

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletics Department will sponsor "Turn Back The Clock Night" on Friday as the Red Raiders open a three-game homestand against 10th-ranked Nebraska.
Texas Tech will wear vintage uniforms that are exact replicas of the uniforms worn in 1926. The 1926 team was the first baseball team fielded by Texas Tech University.
As part of the promotion, vintage music spanning various musical era's will be played throughout the game and concession stand prices will also be reduced. Fans can purchase drinks for $1 and hot dogs for $1.
The Singing Plainsmen (a local barbershop quartet) will present the national anthem prior to the game. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. and tickets are available through the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office at (806)742-TECH.
