Leach Throwing First Pitch in Midland

Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach will throw out the first pitch Friday night at the Midland Rockhounds game in Midland.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach will throw out the first pitch Friday night at the Midland Rockhounds game against the Wichita Wranglers. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and Leach will be signing autographs after his appearance on the mound.

In addition to the pregame festivities, Leach also will be a featured guest during the game broadcast with Rockhounds play-by-play man Bob Hards.

Leach and the Red Raiders open the 2003 season Sat., Aug. 30, against the SMU Mustangs at Jones SBC Stadium.
