Field Set For 2003 Pre-Season WNIT

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team will take part in the 2003 Pre-Season WNIT this next season as the full tournament bracket was announced today.
The prestigious WNIT serves as a kickoff to the women's basketball season and this year the tournament will feature seven teams that were ranked in the Top 25 at various points during the season.
The Lady Raiders will open WNIT play on Friday, Nov. 14 against Texas-San Antonio at the United Spirit Arena. The winner of the Texas Tech/Texas-San Antonio game will await the winner of Rhode Island and Western Kentucky. All games will be played on home campuses and will be determined after each round.
