Autograph/Fan Day Set for August 16

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech football fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet their favorite Red Raider players and coaches the evening of Sat., Aug. 16, at Jones SBC Stadium.
Members of the 2003 Red Raider football team and staff will be available from 7 to 8 p.m. to sign autographs and pose for photographs with Red Raider fans of all ages. Posters and markers will be available, but Tech fans are encouraged to bring their own items to be autographed by the Red Raiders. The event is sponsored by Papa John's Pizza.
"This is something we are really looking forward to," head coach Mike Leach said. "I have always maintained that Texas Tech has the best fans in the Big 12. The players, coaches and I are looking forward to visiting with them next Saturday night."
Texas Tech fans are encouraged to enter Jones SBC stadium through the Southwest ramp near Gate 1. The seating area of the entire stadium will be inaccessible due to ongoing renovations.
