LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech worked through its final morning workout of the preseason as the team will begin its regular game week schedule with an 8 p.m. workout Sunday under the lights at Jones SBC Stadium.
The Red Raiders worked out Saturday morning for 2 ? hours on the grass practice fields southeast of the stadium. The team worked through its normal routine of offensive and defensive drills for the first five periods, then special teams, seven-on-seven and team period.
The Tech players and coaching staff return to the turf Saturday evening for the annual Autograph/Fan Day at Jones SBC Stadium. Gates for the event open at 7 p.m. and fans are encouraged to bring autograph memorabilia and their cameras.
