LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech soccer exhibition game against Midwestern State on Friday has been cancelled due to significant injuries suffered in preseason camp. The game was scheduled for 4 p.m. at R.P. Fuller Stadium.

"The injury bug has really hit us hard," said head coach Felix Oskam. "Our focus needs to be our first regular-season game against New Mexico and we are going to do our best to get our team healthy by that point."

The Red Raiders will host New Mexico in the season-opener on Friday, Aug. 29 at R. P. Fuller Stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
