Tech Approaching 20,000 Season Tickets

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Department of Athletics announced today that it has sold 19,500 season tickets for the 2003 football season, 50 percent higher than last year's total of 12,954, and 500 away from this year's goal of 20,000 season tickets.

While Tech is approaching its season ticket goal, the department also announced that less than 100 $99 season ticket packages remain and a limited supply of $150 season are available. These two ticket prices do not require and option when purchased.

Single-game ticket sales are ongoing and will continue throughout the season. Texas A&M single-game tickets go on sale Mon., Sept. 1, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

To purchase season tickets or single-game tickets for the 2003 season, contact the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office at (888) GO-BIG-12 or 742-TECH. Fans also can stop by the ticket office at the north end of Jones SBC Stadium. The ticket office operates from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
