Tech Offering Free Shuttle Service on Gameday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech announced today that it will offer fans free shuttle service on football game days from the KTXT parking lot west of the United Spirit Arena to Gate 1 (southwest gate) at Jones SBC Stadium. Service begins three hours prior to each kickoff.

Due to financial responsibility, Citibus initially placed a $5 charge on the service to offset costs. Tech officials covered the cost of the service "in appreciation of our fans and the support and enthusiasm they bring to the games."

Service begins this weekend at 3 p.m. The Red Raiders face SMU at 6 p.m. at Jones SBC Stadium on Saturday in the season opener.
