Lady Raider Softball Edged by No. 20 Arizona State

PHOENIX, Ariz - Sophomore pitcher Erin Crawford threw seven strong innings, but it was not enough to lift Texas Tech softball over No. 20 Arizona State, as they defeat the Lady Raiders 3-0 in Phoenix, Ariz., at the Sun Devil Softball Tournament on Friday night.
The Sun Devils got on the board early, as they scored in the opening inning off Tech starter Erin Crawford. Arizona State scored one run on a pair of hits in the inning to take 1-0 lead.
In the third inning, Arizona State collected two hits and added another run make the score 2-0. For the game Crawford had a season high five strikeouts and allowed three earned runs in a compete game effort.
The Lady Raiders be back in action tomorrow when they will take the field to face off against Western Michigan at 11:30 a.m. MST and No. 5 Washington at 1:30 p.m.
