Lady Raider Tennis Members Receive Preseason Big 12 Honors

LUBBOCK, Texas - The 2004 preseason All-Big 12 Honors were released today with two members from the Texas Tech women's tennis squad gracing the list.
Senior Irina Tereschenko was named to the preseason women's singles list, and was also named to the doubles list with senior Kendall Brooks. Brooks and Tereschenko were named to last spring's all-league doubles squad as well.
"It's a great beginning to their senior spring season being named to this elite squad," stated head coach Cari Groce. "I think it's a well deserved honor for both of them to be named to this team. We are very proud of them. They are not only great captains for the squad, but great representatives for Texas Tech University."
The Lady Raiders head to Fort Collins, Colo., Feb. 13, to take on Colorado State at noon.
