LUBBOCK, Texas - At the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout in San Antonio, Texas, the No.51-ranked Lady Raiders finish in third behind Indiana and Missouri. The Lady Raiders, shooting 46-over-par 910, finish the day led by junior Sheila Mendez who carded a fourth-place finish overall.

Mendez shot a third round 78 to finish the tournament six-over-par 222. Megan Hull, junior, carded a third-round 76 to jump up ten spots for an 11th-place finish. Teammate, sophomore Hazel Tan, finished with a three-round total 233, shooting 17-over-par. Tan's performance garnered her an 19th-place tie. Senior Jackie Ey and junior Kim Kolb turned in an 25th- and 35th-place tie, respectively, rounding out the last of Tech's team competitors. Ey had a three-round score of 235, 19-over-par, while Kolb finished shooting 21-over-par 237.

Freshmen Leslie Wall and Christine Kovalcik, Tech's individual competitors, finished in a 15th- and 75th-place tie. Wall shot a 73 second-round score, her lowest round of her career, to finish 16-over-par 232. Kovalcik finished the event 32-over-par 248.

Indiana (896) took home the tournament title with a 14-stroke lead over second-place Missouri (909). Tech (third-910), followed by host Baylor (fourth-926) and Wisconsin (fifth-931), round out the top five. Tech will take three-weeks off before it hits the green again at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic April 12-13. The Susie Maxwell will be the last event the Lady Raiders will participate in before the team heads to the Big 12 Championships April 23-25 in College Station, Texas. Results Listed Below:
