Tech Soccer Signs Kim Cypert

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Soccer Coach Felix Oskam announced today the signing of Kim Cypert to a National Letter of Intent and she will enroll at Tech in the Fall.
Cypert was a three-year lettermen at Clements High School in Sugar Land and helped lead her team most recently to the 2004 Region III 5A semifinals. She was named to the District 20-5A First Team as a senior after posting 30 goals and 11 assists.
She has played with the West University Express club team and was the leading scorer with 18 goals and seven assists last fall. Her team won the 2001 Fila Dallas Cup Gold Division Championship and finished second in the 2002 STYSA Tournament. In ODP (Olympic development) play her team went to the state pool in 2000 and went to the area round in 1999.
