Postgame Notes
- Texas Tech maintained its hold on fourth place in the Big 12 standings just ahead of Baylor who is now 12-9 on the year thanks to a 3-2 win over Nebraska on Saturday.
- The Big 12 Tournament Field has been set as Missouri wrapped up the final spot with a 2-1 win over Kansas. Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Texas A&M, Nebraska and Missouri will make up the tournament field in Arlington.
- Head Coach Larry Hays experimented with a completely new lineup tonight as he led off with Josh Brady followed by Cody Fuller in the two hole and Cameron Blair in the third spot. Brady, Fuller and Blair all picked up three hits in the game while Brady finished with three RBI.
- Texas Tech handed Oklahoma State ace Spencer Grogan just his second loss of the season and his first in Big 12 play. The Red Raiders tagged Grogan for 12 hits and four earned runs in seven innings of work.
