Texas Tech-TCU Game Time Announced

LUBBOCK, Texas - Fox Sports Net announced today that it has selected Texas Tech's game against Texas Christian University as part of the Big 12 television package for regional telecast at 11:30 a.m. CT on Sept. 18. FSN's regional coverage will be aired on Fox Sports Southwest (Cox Cable Channel 20 in Lubbock) from Jones SBC Stadium in Lubbock.

The game not only marks the home opener for Texas Tech in the fall, it also is the first meeting between the Red Raiders and Horned Frogs since the final season of the Southwest Conference in 1995. Tech leads the series 27-22-3 and holds a 16-7-3 advantage in Lubbock.

The Red Raiders are coming off an 8-5 season and 38-14 win over Navy in the Houston Bowl. TCU finished 11-2 last season after dropping a 34-31 decision to Boise State in the Fort Worth Bowl.
