Women's Basketball Conference Schedule Announced

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced today the 2005 women's basketball schedule. Texas Tech will open conference play in Lubbock against Oklahoma Jan. 5.
In January, Tech will face four opponents at home and four on the road. Along with Oklahoma, the Lady Raiders will play Texas (Jan. 12), Kansas State (Jan. 22), Missouri (Jan. 26) at the United Spirit Arena in January. Tech will travel to Oklahoma State (Jan. 8), Colorado (Jan. 15), Nebraska (Jan. 19) and Texas A&M (Jan. 30) the first month of league play.
February will have the Lady Raiders hosting Baylor (Feb. 5), Iowa State (Feb. 8), Texas A&M (Feb. 19) and Oklahoma State (Feb. 26), while traveling to Texas (Feb. 13), Kansas (Feb. 16), Oklahoma (Feb. 23). Tech will conclude regular-season play at Baylor March 3.
Big 12 Conference television games and times are yet to be determined.
