LUBBOCK, Texas - Wes Welker snagged a 24-yard reception from San Diego quarterback Drew Brees to record his first professional touchdown in Saturday's Chargers' game against Arizona. The reception was his only catch of the game and he also rushed once for eight yards and returned two punts. Making his return to NFL action, former Tech free safety Kevin Curtis saw limited action for the Green Bay Packers after joining the team last week. Curtis was a fourth-round draft pick of the 49ers in 2002 and played in the preseason before a knee injury ended his season. He suffered another knee injury prior to playing in the preseason last year. Former Tech linemen Toby Cecil and Rex Richards each appeared in games for Carolina and Indianapolis, respectively, while Mickey Peters saw playing time with Tennessee. Carlos Francis missed Oakland's game against Dallas with a minor hamstring injury and B.J. Symons spent his second week on the Texans' physically-unable-to-perform list while rehabbing last season's knee injury. Updates on other Red Raiders from week two:
