Red Raider Soccer Set to Open Season

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer team will open the 2004 regular season with a home-opening weekend with matches against Oral Roberts University and TCU. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 27, as the Red Raiders take on the Golden Eagles of ORU. Match time is set for 1 p.m. on Sun., Aug. 29, when the Red Raiders battle the Horned Frogs of TCU. Texas Tech is coming off a well-fought victory over Midwestern State last weekend. The Red Raiders posted a 1-0 win where freshman Kim Cypert scored her first goal in collegiate play and freshman Kelcee Cameron tallied her first assist.
