Lady Raider Super Sunday Set for Oct. 16

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball program will hold Lady Raider Super Sunday on Sun., Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena. It will mark the first open basketball practice of the Lady Raiders' 2005-06 season.
The doors for the event will open at 1:30 p.m. Super Sunday will get under way as the Lady Raiders practice from 2-4 p.m. The event will also include a Coaches vs. Cancer presentation, and fans will be able to win prizes, meet the players and the coaches. An autograph session will be held at the conclusion of practice. There will be free posters, schedule cards and hand fans available to those in attendance. During Super Sunday, which is sponsored by Master Cleaners, free popcorn and cokes will be available.
The Lady Raiders will tip-off the season against LSU in the State Farm Women's Tip-Off Classic on Sun., Nov. 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
