- Senior shortstop Cameron Blair had his 14-game hit streak snapped as he went 0-for-4 with one run scored.
- Tech's three hits was the second lowest total of the season behind the no-hitter at Missouri.
- The all-time series against Dallas Baptist is now tied at 2-2.
- Joey Callender had all three Tech hits and all three RBI. The three-hit game was his eighth of the season and his 20th multiple hit outing while his three-RBI night was his third of the year. Callender leads all Tech hitters in both multiple-hit and multiple-RBI games.
- Texas Tech fell to 21-6 in non-conference games and to 20-6 in games played at Dan Law Field.
