After the big victory over the Townsville Fire on Friday night, the whole team was ready for some fun in the sun today. This morning we got up to eat some wonderful breakfast and we made our way to the beach. All of us girls went to the beach along with some of the staff, while others went deep sea fishing, golfing and to the rain forest.
After about a thirty-minute drive we finally arrived at Palm Cove, a huge beach with lots of people and several shops along the way to look in. When we finally got all of our things down, no one hesitated to get in the water and have some fun in the waves. We had the most fun when we would walk out in the water and then let the waves push us back near shore. After a while, some of the girls got hungry for some more action, and they signed up to ride sea-doos. Both of the Erins, Tawanna and Alesha all seemed to be having a blast on the water motorcycles, and Tawanna got way more than what she bargained for when she was thrown off because Erin Grant decided to pick up some extra speed. We laughed and had a great time watching everyone crash, speed through the waves, and do 360s on the sea-doos.
After all of that excitement, most of us layed out and slept on the beautiful beach with the warm weather. On the way back, we were all exhausted and completely drained from the amount of fun that we had at the beach.
Once we got back to the hotel, some of us went back to our rooms and got some rest and some of us went and did a little shopping and got some dinner. We are back at the hotel now and getting ready for our day tomorrow at the Great Barrier Reef. It will be our last day in Australia before leaving on Monday.
