Lady Raider Super Saturday Set for Oct. 14

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball program will hold Lady Raider Super Saturday on Sat., Oct. 14, from 4-6 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena. It will mark the first open practice of the Lady Raiders' 2006-07 season.
The doors for the event will open at 3:30 p.m. Super Saturday will get under way with the Lady Raiders' practice starting at 4 p.m. followed by an autograph session.
There will be giveaways as well as free posters and schedule cards for those in attendance. The concession stands at the United Spirit Arena will also be open.
Those in attendance for Super Saturday will be given free admittance to the Red Raider volleyball match against Iowa State, which takes place that evening at 7 p.m.
Tech will tip-off the basketball season on Fri., Nov. 10, as it hosts Texas-San Antonio at 7 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
