Red Raiders Post Sixth Place Finish

MURRELL INLET, S.C. - The No. 17 Texas Tech men's golf team turned in a tie for sixth place over the weekend at the General Hackler Invitational at the TCP of Myrtle Beach Golf Course in Murrells Inlet, S.C.
Junior Oscar Floren posted the highest finish by a Red Raider at the event, ended in a tie for 17th place with a four-over par three-round total of 220. Floren was followed closely by teammate Andrew Dresser who finished just one shot back in a tie for 20th place at the event with a score of 221.
A trio of freshman completed the Tech contingency at the event, with Jake Younan-Wise in a tie for 29th place (225), Garrett Merrill in a tie for 46th place (228) and Brandon Lakatta in a tie for 62 at (232).
The Red Raider golf team is back in action on April 3-4 when they travel to Austin, Texas, to take part in the Morris Williams Invitational.
