LUBBOCK, Texas - Sunday's series finale between Texas Tech and Texas has been cancelled due to heavy rains that have blanketed much of the state of Texas.
The Red Raiders and Longhorns have not played a full three-game series since 2003 as both series' in 2004 and 2005 were shortened to two games due to weather conditions.
The series between Texas Tech and Texas ends in a 1-1 split as the Red Raiders evened things up with a 2-1 win on Saturday behind a stellar pitching performance by Miles Morgan.
Texas Tech does not have a midweek game scheduled this week but the Red Raiders now have three games to makeup due to weather so a game could be added as early as Monday evening. For the latest on Red Raider baseball schedule additions/changes, log on to www.texastech.com.
