LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech seniors LaToya Davis and Erin Grant were honored today by the Associated Press as they were named honorable mention All-America.
Davis and Grant are the first players to receive AP honors since 2003 when Tech's Plenette Pierson was third team All-America and Jia Perkins was honorable mention.
Both Grant and Davis were All-Big 12 first team selections this year, marking the only school in the league with two first-team honorees.
