- Tonight's game marked the 32nd meeting between Texas Tech and KSU. Tech now leads the all-time series 21-10-1.
- Texas Tech has now been part of both ties in Big 12 history. The only other Big 12 game that ended in a tie was a 7-7 contest between Tech and Oklahoma in 2001.
- Junior shortstop Kyle Martin set new career high's in errors (4) and RBI (4).
- Today's tie marks the fourth in the career record of Tech Head Coach Larry Hays.
- Tech committed a total of 11 errors in the three-game series and that led to 13 unearned runs.
