LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech senior wide receiver Joel Filani (Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley) will be the featured guest on a live ESPN.com chat Friday at 3:15 p.m. CT. The chat is part of ESPN.com's preview of the 2006 Big 12 Conference football season.

Filani is the Red Raider's top returning receiver after capitalizing on 65 receptions with a season-high 1,048 yards and eight touchdowns in 2005. He has earned several preseason honors, including being named to the prestigious Playboy All-America Team. Additionally, Filani has garnered mention as one of the nation's top wide receivers and top receiver prospects for the 2007 NFL Draft.
The Red Raiders, coming off a 9-3 campaign and AT&T Cotton Bowl appearance, open the 2006 season Sept. 2 against SMU at Jones AT&T Stadium.
