Women's Basketball to Play Kansas State on ESPN2

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big 12 Conference has announced its 2006-07 women's basketball package with ESPN, which has increased to five games on ESPN2 in addition to appearances by league teams in two other games selected by the network. The Texas Tech women's basketball team will play Kansas State Sun., Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. CST on ESPN2 in Lubbock.
This is the fifth television game for Tech as it will also appear on FSN four times this season.
The Big 12 package includes both games of the Big 12/Big Ten Challenge and three games highlighting conference match-ups.
The Big 12 will have 34 appearances on national television with seven on ESPN affiliates and 27 on FSN.
