Griffin to Have Surgery on Knee

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Kristy Curry announced that junior Darrice Griffin will have her right knee scoped for a possible meniscus tear tomorrow, Fri., Sept. 1. Griffin is expected to return to workouts in approximately four weeks.
Griffin, a native of Seagraves, Texas, had the ACL in her right knee repaired in June 2005 and played in the last 21 games of the 2005-06 season.
