LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Football will make its third television appearance of the season when it faces Texas A&M at 2:30 p.m. CT Sat., Sept. 30, on ABC, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday. Lubbock residents can view the game on Channel 28 or SuddenLink Cable Channel 8. Those outside of the Lubbock viewing area should check their local listings.
Texas Tech (2-1) faces Southeastern Louisiana at Jones AT&T Stadium this weekend, before hitting the road again at A&M. The Red Raiders and Lions are playing at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The Red Raiders have won eight of the last 11 meetings with the Aggies, but trail in the overall series 34-29-1. The last two trips to College Station have provided two of the most memorable games in series history as both went to overtime. In 2002, Tech mounted an 18-point fourth quarter comeback for a 48-47 overtime win. The Red Raiders fell short in the extra period two years ago, 32-25. The Red Raiders also have won four of the last five games in the series.
Texas A&M is 3-0 on the season and face Louisiana Tech at home before hosting the Red Raiders.
Other televised games include Colorado at Missouri (FSN Regional, 11:30 a.m.) and Kansas at Nebraska (FSN National, 6 p.m.)
