Red Raiders Enter Top 25

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's 35-7 win over rival Texas A&M jolted the Red Raiders into the national polls for the first time this season as Tech debuted at No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 22 in the USA Today Top 25.
The Red Raiders (6-1; 2-1 Big 12) are in the national rankings for the first time since ending the 2005 season at No. 20 (AP) and No. 19 (USA Today).
Texas Tech will puts its national ranking to the test on Saturday afternoon in Columbia, Mo. when the Red Raiders battle No. 15/17 Missouri (5-1, 1-1 Big 12) at Memorial Stadium. The Tigers fell to Oklahoma 41-31 on Saturday night for their first loss of the season. The game will be televised live on a regional basis by ABC Sports. at 2:30 p.m.
