Lady Raider Basketball to Hold Open Practice November 2

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team will hold an open practice of the 2007-08 season on Fri., Nov. 2, from 12:45-3 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
Fans are invited to come take a look at this year's team prior to its exhibition game. Free cokes and popcorn will be available during the open practice.
Parking will be available in the C-17 lot, located on the corner of Texas Tech Parkway and Indiana. Electronic signage will provide directions to the C-17 lot.
The Lady Raiders will play their only exhibition game of the season on Sun., Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., against the Houston Jaguars. Following the game on Nov. 4, Tech will hold KC's Chalk Talk as the entire team will be present. At the conclusion of Chalk Talk, the team will hold an autograph session for its fans.
Tech will tip-off the regular season at the UCF Knights Classic in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 9 and 11. The Lady Raiders face host UCF on Fri., Nov. 9, at 6:30 p.m. CST, and Northeastern on Sun., Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. CST. Tech plays its home opener on Tues., Nov. 13, against IPFW at 7 p.m.
