Texas Tech women's basketball's annual Girls Rule - Basketball 101 clinic held on Oct. 25, at the United Spirit Arena was a success as over 150 women attended the day-long event.
"We were so excited about the great turnout we had for our Girls Rule clinic," said head coach Kristy Curry. "We had a great group of ladies come out to learn more about the game of basketball and watch our practice. It was a fun way to spend time with some of our fans."
The women enjoyed a morning session of rules and regulations of the game of basketball followed by lunch, in which former Lady Raider head coach Marsha Sharp spoke at, and concluded by watching the Lady Raiders practice.
Door prizes and gift bags were handed out to those in attendance.
