LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's regular-season finale against Oklahoma has been picked up for broadcast by ABC and will kickoff at 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Jones AT&T Stadium. The game will mark the Red Raiders' ninth television appearance of the season and fifth straight on ABC.
The kickoff time is the latest for Tech since last season's 8 p.m. CT kick at UTEP. The last time the Red Raiders kicked off past 6 p.m. at Jones AT&T Stadium was in 2003 when Tech and Texas A&M played on FSN at 9 p.m. The Red Raiders won that game 59-29.
Texas Tech enters this weekend's game at No. 14 Texas with a 7-3 overall record and 3-3 mark in Big 12 play after last week's 38-7 win at Baylor. The Red Raiders got back in the win column after successive losses at Missouri and at home against Colorado. Oklahoma is 8-1 overall and 4-1 in league play and enters this weekend's game against Baylor in Norman as the nation's fourth-ranked team in both polls. The Sooners have won four straight since suffering its lone defeat of the season at Colorado.
