LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Shalee Lehning and Ashley Sweat scored 16 points each to lead Kansas State over Texas Tech 66-59 Sunday.
It was a career high for Sweat. Claire Coggins added 13 points for the Wildcats (16-8, 4-7 Big 12).
Texas Tech got within 64-59 with 31 seconds remaining on a driving layup by Alesha Robertson. The Lady Raiders (14-11, 5-6) could get no closer.
Robertson scored 15 points and Patrice Edwards had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Raquel Christian came off the bench and scored 10 points.
Kansas State got most of its points inside, with 44 in the paint.
Tech got up early in the first half but hit only 1-of-14 from the field in the 13 minutes before the break.
During Tech's field goal drought, the Wildcats went on an 11-0 run capped by back-to-back baskets by Sweat, who finished the half with 10 points.
The Wildcats led 31-22 at the half.
