LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Jhasmin Player scored a career-high 22 points to lead No. 15 Baylor over Texas Tech 80-67 Wednesday night.
Bernice Mosby added 15 points and 13 rebounds for Baylor (20-4, 7-3 Big 12), which has 20 wins for the seventh-straight season.
Patrice Edwards scored a career-high 33 points to lead Tech (14-10, 5-5) and Jordan Murphree added 11.
Down 49-39 early in the second half, Tech crept steadily back. The Lady Raiders used a 10-0 run, including four points each from Murphree and Alesha Robertson, to whittle their deficit to 51-49 with 12 minutes left.
Baylor stiffened and went up 57-51 on a jumper by Mosby with 10:33 remaining. Edwards scored nine straight points to pull the Lady Raiders within 64-63 with 5:14 remaining.
The Lady Bears responded with a 9-0 run, scoring on five of their next seven possessions, to go up 73-63 and clinch the win.
