Texas Tech announced prior to the game that Tuesday's game against New Mexico has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. Tech will now play College of the Southwest on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. instead of Wednesday afternoon as was announced last week.
Today's game marked the first time since the 2003 season that Tech and Texas have been able to play all three games of a series. The last three series between the two teams has seen the final game cancelled due to inclement weather.
The last time Tech was swept in a three-game series was against Oklahoma State in the 2006 regular-season finale in Stillwater.
