LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech "Take Your Best Shot" photo contest is underway. The contest is being sponsored by Lady Raider basketball and runs until Aug. 10.
Texas Tech is asking fans to send in a photo showing their Texas Tech spirit during the summer. The contest is open to anyone ages 3-13. Each person can submit just one photo. Friends, family and pets are welcome in the photo. Only completed entries that include: photo, name, age, address, phone number, location of where the photo was taken, will be accepted. No entries will be accepted after the Aug. 10th deadline.
Photos must show Texas Tech spirit in order to be eligible. Creativity is a must! Face paint, Texas Tech jerseys/T-shirts, flags and memorabilia are all great components of the photo.
Judging will be done by the Texas Tech marketing and promotions department for Lady Raider basketball.
Grand prizes for the contest include:
• Autographed items - including a Kristy Curry and Lady Raider Nike basketball, t-shirt and team poster
• Opportunity to be a Guest Coach at the home game against Texas (meet the team and Kristy Curry, on-court presentation during pre-game activities and display of the winning photo on RaiderVision)
• Recognition on the Lady Raider website
By submitting an entry in the "Take Your Best Shot" photo contest, contestants give Texas Tech University the right to use their name and/or image for promotional purposes without consideration.
