Lady Raiders Add ESPN2 Game to Television Schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas - The 2007-08 Big 12 women's basketball television package with ESPN features five games on ESPN2 or ESPNU in addition to appearances by league teams in four other games selected by the network. Texas Tech will play at Texas A&M on Sun., Feb. 17, at 3 p.m. on ESPN2.
Tech now has four regional/national televised games, including three on FSN, during the 2007-08 season.
All games in the Big 12 package will be played on Sundays, beginning Jan. 20, and feature conference matchups. Contests selected include both traditional and new rivalries with Baylor at Oklahoma, Oklahoma at Texas, Oklahoma State at Nebraska, Texas Tech at Texas A&M and Texas A&M at Texas.
The Feb. 10, game between Oklahoma State and Nebraska will be telecast as part of the Women's Basketball February Frenzy, ESPN's tune-up to its NCAA Tournament coverage.
The Big 12 will have 36 appearances on national or regional television with nine on ESPN affiliates and 27 on FSN.
