Women's Basketball to Hold "Girls Rule - Basketball 101" Clinic

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball program will hold its annual "Girls Rule - Basketball 101" clinic on Thurs., Oct. 25, at the United Spirit Arena. The clinic is open to ladies only to learn more about the rules of the game of basketball.
"We are excited about holding our annual Girls Rule Clinic," said head coach Kristy Curry. "This gives our female fans the first opportunity to see this year's team. We have a few spots remaining and we look forward to seeing everyone on the 25th."
The event will be held on Oct. 25, from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the United Spirit arena with a clinic and discussion, lunch and a Lady Raider practice. Women's basketball officials will be present to lead the clinic. The cost of the clinic is $30 per lady, which includes clinic, lunch, rules packet and a t-shirt, and a chance to win many great prizes.
Pre-registration is being accepted by mail. The form can be obtained at www.goladyraiders.com. Space is limited to the first 150 ladies to register. For more information or questions, please call Marianne Sevin at 806-742-8097.

9:30-10 a.m. - Registration in lobby area of the United Spirit Arena (west side)
10-11:15 a.m. - Clinic and Discussion
11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. - Lunch
12:30-3 p.m. - Watch Lady Raider practice
Where: United Spirit Arena - Main Floor
Cost: $30 per lady
