LUBBOCK, Texas - Adding to her collection of 2007 honors, Texas Tech sophomore defender Brittney Harrison was recently named to Soccer Buzz's Central Region Second Team after leading the Red Raiders to their first Big 12 Tournament appearance since 1999.

The award is Harrison's eighth on the season, third by Soccer Buzz. Harrison is the first Red Raider to be honored with a postseason award by the publication since 1996.

The Big 12 had 21 student-athletes represented on either the first, second, or third team.

Harrison connected on three goals and provided two assists in the 2007 campaign, while also leading Tech in minutes played and shot-on-goal percentage.
