Tailgating
Site setup may begin no earlier than 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Leave driving lanes open for traffic: do not tailgate or stand out into the driving lanes. Delineating perimeters ("staking ground") for tailgating sites is prohibited. Chaining and/or roping off of tailgating spaces, items, and/or equipment to reserve your space is prohibited. No drilling or staking into the parking surface, for example to anchor a tent.
In permitted areas, only one space is permitted per parking pass; parking passes must be visible at all times. All tailgating items should be kept within donor's assigned or allotted space. These items include cookers, vehicles, tents, lawn-chairs, coolers and overflow etc.
Reserved Lots
Many of the lots surrounding Jones AT&T Stadium are reserved for football permit holders beginning at 6:30AM on game days. Any vehicle parked in these reserved areas is subject to impoundment. Refer to the football game day parking map for a detailed list of reserved areas. For more information about obtaining a football permit, please contact the Red Raider Club. Limited disability parking is available in the lots immediately west and east of the stadium.
Park and Ride
Park and ride services are available from the commuter west lots (indicated in yellow on the map). Busses will be on hand to transport patrons from the parking area to Jones AT&T Stadium, and back to the lot again after the game. All other parking lots on campus are open for parking unless otherwise indicated. The cost of the shuttle service is $5 roundtrip.
Emergency Vehicle Access
Please be aware that northbound Akron Avenue, eastbound Flint Ave. and Main St. (between University and Akron Ave.) are fire lanes. Vehicles parked in these areas will be impounded. In order to maintain access for emergency vehicles and ensure the safety of our parking patrons and building occupants, it is imperative that fire lanes on campus be kept clear at all times. Thank you for your help as we work to maintain the safety of our campus.
