Kimbro to Redshirt 2008-09 Season

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Kristy Curry announced today that freshman guard Lindie Kimbro will redshirt the 2008-09 season to rehab her right knee which had its anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repaired during her senior year of high school.
The redshirt gives the Lady Raiders a 12-woman roster for the upcoming season.
Tech plays its first exhibition game on Sun., Nov. 2, at 2 p.m., against Melbourne Roos.
