LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball program will have several promotions for its final home game of the season against Oklahoma on Wed., Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
Season ticket holders can enjoy Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night by bringing up to two friends with them to the game for free admission. Both friends need to be present with the season ticket holder when the ticket is scanned to receive the free admission.
It will also be Raider Power Night. The Raider Power campaign has a simple objective - to promote spirit and sportsmanship by defining Raider Power as Honor, Respect, Pride and Tradition. Fans will have an opportunity to catch special Raider Power t-shirts throughout the game.
The Greek system will be recognized with Greek Night as over 500 sorority members from across the Texas Tech campus will come together to cheer on the Lady Raiders in a Greek challenge. All 10 sorority groups will be recognized throughout the game and will be recognized during the last timeout of the second half with an awards presentation. The winning sorority will receive a $500 check from head coach Kristy Curry, which will be presented directly to the philanthropy of their choice.
Seniors Erin Myrick and Darrice Griffin, along with two senior managers, will be honored during the pre-game Senior Salute.
The general public is reminded that there are free parking spaces available in lot C-17, located on the corner of Texas Tech Parkway and Indiana Ave.
