The last time Texas Tech suffered a 1-0 loss was against Texas A&M here at Dan Law Field on April 4, 1992.
Missouri has yet to allow an earned run in Big 12 play and only given up two runs in league games.
The No. 2 Tigers are the highest ranked team to come to Dan Law Field since then No. 2 Texas visited Lubbock back in 2004.
The shutout marked the second of the season for Tech as then No. 19 Louisiana-Lafayette held the Red Raiders scoreless in a 4-0 loss in the season opener back on Feb. 23.
Missouri now leads the all-time series 21-17 while Tech still maintains a 10-6 advantage in games played in Lubbock.
