LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Kristy Curry has announced that Grant Fausset has been named Director of Basketball Operations and Video for the Lady Raiders.
Fausset, who has served the past two years as video coordinator for the Lady Raiders, now takes over as director of basketball operations as well, after Marianne Sevin announced her resignation in April.
"Grant has done an outstanding job for us as video coordinator the last two years," said Curry. "We feel that he is the best person to oversee all of our video and daily operations for our program."
A native of Sheridan, Ind., Fausset came to Tech from Auburn where he spent a year as the video coordinator for the women's basketball program. Prior to his job at Auburn, Fausset spent a year at Purdue. Before his stint with the Boilermakers, he spent the summer of 2004 as equipment manager for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA.
Fausset graduated from Purdue in May 2004 with a degree in agricultural communications. During his time as an undergraduate, Fausset served one year as a practice player before taking over the managerial duties his last two years.
He and his wife, Lindsey, were married in July 2007.
