Rain Cancels Sunday Contest With South Alabama

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Storms in the area altered the remainder of Saturday's schedule at the Florida Lipton Invitational, causing Texas Tech's game against South Alabama on Sunday to be canceled.

Texas Tech will practice on the University of Florida campus in the morning, before returning to Lubbock Sunday evening.

The Red Raiders travel to Albuquerque, N.M., next weekend to participate in the University of New Mexico tournament. Follow all the action on the women's softball page at www.texastech.com.
